A Practicum in Will

Twelve units on the cultivation of will. One distinction, one thing to observe, one thing to do, and the characteristic way it fails.

This is a practicum rather than a series of essays, because nobody has ever gained volitional capacity by reading about volition. It develops through observation, attempt, error, and revision. Each unit is built to be worked rather than read, and the week between units is where the learning actually happens.

Everything here is complete and nothing is withheld. There is no version of this with the useful part restored. If you work through all twelve and never speak to me, the thing has done what it was built to do.

01 — Attention

The precondition. You cannot will what you cannot see.
